OUR PHILOSOPHY

Surprisingly, 'Polybius' doesn't pay homage to the eponymous Greek scholar, but to the identically-named lunar impact crater. This crater serves as an extended metaphor for a new book sending seismic tremors through the literary world, and leaving an indelible mark in the process. So assigning the name Polybius to our publishing house is consistent with our stated aim of exploration and enterprise. We are bold. We embrace change. We push at the frontiers of genre.
